Radar access for disabled people

The majority of our public toilets have access available for disabled people under the Radar National Key Scheme.

The National Key Scheme (NKS) offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets around the country. Toilets fitted with NKS locks can now be found in shopping centres, pubs, cafes, department stores, bus and train stations and many other locations in most parts of the country.

Changing Places

We also provide Changing Places toilet facilities for use by people with profound and complex disabilities who often need extra equipment and space to allow them to use the toilets safely and comfortably. The Changing Places facilities are accessed using a RADAR key can be found at the following locations:

  • Pittville Park, near the play area
  • Montpellier Gardens, by the main entrance on Montpellier Walk

Note: Users will be required to provide their own sling for use with the hoist.

There are more Changing Places toilets around Cheltenham provided by other organisations. Use the Changing Places toilet finder.
