Townscape

Townscape work forms part of the green space and public realm service and focuses on the care and improvement of Cheltenham’s streets and public spaces.

This includes planting, pocket parks, memorial gardens, benches, cycle parking and other features that shape how the town looks and feels day to day. The work brings together greenery, design, heritage and practical use of public spaces.

Projects are supported from early ideas through to delivery, working with communities, councillors and partners to create welcoming, sustainable and well-designed places that boosting biodiversity and respect Cheltenham’s character.
