Polling stations
Please note that due to ward boundary changes, the closest polling station to where you live may not be the one where you should vote.
If you are registered to vote, you will receive a poll card prior to an election. It tells you when the election is due to take place and how you can vote.
You do not need to take your poll card with you to the polling station to vote, unless you are a registered anonymous voter, but you must bring photo ID.
All polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm and have disabled access.
Please check your poll card for your allocated polling station or use our online map.
Voter ID
From 4 May 2023 all voters are required to show photo identification at polling stations before they are given a ballot paper.
You can find more information on our voter ID page.
