Student registered elsewhere

If you're a student away from home, you can register twice

Students are entitled to register at their home address and their university address. Although it is an offence to vote more than once in a national election, you can vote in local elections at both addresses. Students can find more information on the Electoral Commission website.

Please let us know if you are registered to vote elsewhere and do not wish to register in Cheltenham by completing the below webform or email elections@cheltenham.gov.uk and supply the following details: Full name and term address in Cheltenham.

If you wish to vote in person at future elections, you will need to bring photo ID to your polling station. 
If you do not have one of the accepted forms of photo ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authority CertificatePlease note that a student card is not an accepted form of ID.
